Danish Music Awards Jazz 2026: Full Lineup

Danish Music Awards Jazz 2026 takes place on 7 December at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen, bringing together some of the most exciting names in jazz for a night of live performances and awards. The programme spans vocal jazz, Nordic piano trio, and experimental punk jazz — all under one roof.

A Jazz Night Spanning Styles and Generations

The evening features Cæcilie Norby, one of European jazz's most celebrated vocalists, alongside the Nilsson/Kjærgaard/Davidsen trio — a Nordic piano trio moving between explosive intensity and delicate improvisation. Experimental collective Hands on Fire bring their free jazz and punk-noise fusion, while Bart Lewis 100 Year Jubilation closes the night with a multi-generational tribute to a century of Danish jazz. Nine awards will be presented on the night, including Jazz Release of the Year and Musician of the Year.
